International Cooperation for Regional Development

Summary

V Anniversary International Forum Round Table will traditionally provide a platform for discussion of topical international aspects in regional development. This year, the round table will focus on the analysis for the potential of integration technologies in the development of the internal competitive advantage for regional development. In this respect in the framework of the round table there will be a discussion among the experts and representatives of European, international and national organizations: European Conference of Ministers responsible for Spatial/Regional Planning (CEMAT), the Council of Europe, Association of European Border Regions, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, etc. Among other topics particular attention will be paid to one of the flagship projects of the Russian presidency in VASAB "Regional monitoring in the European macro region - testing for the Baltic Sea".
