Clustering Economic Regions of Russia: Implementation of Pilot Programmes for Innovative Clusters Development and Role of Institutional Development

Summary

In August of 2012 The Chairman of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev approved a list of innovative regional clusters. The list included 25 regional clusters in different regions of Russia, identified in the competitive process in the pharmaceutical, petrochemical, nuclear technology, electronics and aviation. At the round table is invited to consider the various forms of government involvement in projects, structured on the basis of cluster solutions, and possible tools participate in development institutions.
