State corporation Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs(Vnesheconombank) during the Forum  will organize 2 round tables Innovation Clusters and Issues of Resources and Efforts Joining for Monocities Modernization. As in the past year, Irina Makieva, Deputy Chairman of Vnesheconombank will moderate round tables.  

In 2011, Vnesheconombank jointly with Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation, organized during X All-Russian Forum round table Modern Mechanisms for Monocities Development, which aroused great interest among Forum participants. Participants exchanged views and experiences, including international, on the monocities modernization. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of issues faced by single-industry towns, finding the most effective tools of urban modernization, including the participation of international development institutions and Vnesheconombank. At the end of the round table were taken initiatives to develop jointly with the World Bank’s partnership programs in order to exchange experiences and form a list of Russian and international monosities that have similar characteristics and problems of socio-economic development.
